Canada's
Summer Work Experience creates summer employment for secondary
and post-secondary students, and supports the operation of summer employment
offices. This program is delivered in partnership with various private,
public and not-for-profit groups. There are special provisions for employers
who hire students with disabilities. These jobs provide students with
the opportunity to acquire skills, gain valuable work experience and
help finance their return to school.
