Volunteer

Care Canada: CARE Canada does not have an overseas volunteer program. However, an international assignment as a volunteer (or cooperant, a term used by some organizations) is an excellent way to begin a career in international development or humanitarian assistance.
Canadian Red Cross: The Canadian Red Cross Society (CRC), is a non-profit, humanitarian organization, dedicated to helping
Canadians, as well as the most vulnerable throughout the world. The CRC has approximately 6,800 employees across the country,
as well as approximately 63,500 volunteers.
CUSO: Provide recruitment, selection and orientation of cooperants in preparation for overseas placement, support to cooperants
during their placements, and facilitate the continued involvement of returned cooperants in the work of CUSO and
Canadian/international social movements.
